All aboard the Ethereal Express

Welcome aboard the Ethereal Express, a fantastical train that journeys through the boundless realms of the multiverse. As the rhythmic clatter of the tracks fades into the mystical night, an urgent announcement disrupts the calm: 

There has been a murder on board! 

It’s up to you—brilliant but quirky passengers ready to become wannabe detectives—to unravel the mystery before the train reaches its next destination and the murderer gets away. Or worse, more murders happen! So question eccentric characters, piece together elusive clues, and challenge each other’s wits. Can you solve the crime and reveal the killer before the train arrives, or will the murderer slip through your grasp? All aboard, and may the sharpest mind prevail!

This game was created as part of the One-Page RPG Jam 2024, with the topic Transport. The Ethereal Express had been on my mind for a while and I liked the idea of extending upon it and use it as the background for a murder mystery. 

This game is supposed to be fun and invites the players to be silly, invent absurd train wagons while at the same time play a little game of bluff, memory, deception and anything else they can think of.  If you like it, let me know about it in the comments.
